Hi Dan reading the forums on MSE, there are a lot of disappointed people who have found Cashback Rewards on your maximiser, and when arriving at our site find that the cashback is no where near the amount the maximiser suggests.

Yep, I'm one! Maximiser says 5.28% for Cosmos when it's actually 1.98%!
  • The search tool is great idea, unfortunately though thats all it appears to be at the minute, an idea!

Opodo is also missing of quidco in the search tools!
  • Further to my last post,

Opodo charge 7.80 for booking online using your credit card!

    SHOCKING!

but they still may be the cheapest, but i didnt like the way they were very sneaky with the charge, it wasnt in their terms and conditions, (i read them before i bought, sad i know)

Any ideas on claiming a bad credit card charge like that back from them? (saying iv crossed the topic)

    Many thanks
  • Any chance of having Nectar e-stores included? For places like Amazon not covered by Quidco it has a pretty decent payout.

  • It isn't displaying results regardless of retailer, have reported it to the cashback checker email adress but just thought i'd make you aware

  • im having the same problem as indierocker85!
  • I think the cashback site was intended as save money for yourself make money for the site. As you save the most and the site can make money when you click through to the cashback sites (normally via an affiliate link). Which is good for all, but I think it does need a bit of work.

But in defence of the tool not displaying results, it does say that you should check twice. Perhaps it would be a good idea to list the tool as a beta perhaps??

  • I agree with other posters that greasy palm seems to be a good site to make a little cashback. The only thing is that you must earn at-least £25 before they will pay you. I have only been using the site for a few days but I will post any positive or negative experiences later on.

    Has anyone heard of clickcashback.co.uk?

I think that I may have used their site a bit hastily recently. They don't seem to be listed on this site and wondered if anyone could supply any further information about it?
  • I've come across another cashback site called jaypot.com. Only £10 minimum payout and most of the rates seem the same as quidco without the yearly charge of £5.
