Bankruptcy restriction order on credit file

Hi
can anyone tell me how long a BRO should remain on your credit file for?. Bankruptcy started 15 May 2015 and was discharged on 15 May 2016. I had a 5 year restrictions order, which on the discharge letter stated it ended on 15 May 2021. I know it stays on your credit file for 6 years.
I thought it would all be off my credit file by now but after checking with Experian, they tell me it remains on there until 15 May 2022. Is that correct?. Does the BRO start after you are discharged?.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

My understanding is that the BRO itself does not appear on your credit file, just the bankruptcy, which stays for six years from the date you were declared bankrupt.
If your BRO is for more than 6 years then the entry stays until the BRO completes.
I can't see why it would stay for 7 years with a 5-year BRO. I'm happy to be educated in this.

The BRO starts on the day you signed the undertaking. The end date in your case is 5 years from that date. Unless you signed it literally the day you were discharged it should be less than 7 years. The date it finishes will be on your entry on the individual insolvency register.0
