Good afternoon I currently work 12 hours a day which works out 4 shift a
week, on a 48 hour a week contract. What I can’t work out is how many shifts
should I be working a month would it be 16,17 or 18. Could anyone please help
also I’m salaried.

For what purpose are you trying to work it out? Some regulations have specific mechanisms.
Outside of regulations you work 4 a week so an average of 17 1/3 a month0 -
OK thanks so 18 shifts a month would be correct.0

No it will be an average of 17 & 1/3 shifts per month.
So it will vary each month. Could range from 16 to 19 I think.0 -
You are right it verys.0

The 17 and 1/3 shifts a month is average but your holidays are also included in that time.
As a minimum you would be entitled to statutory annual paid leave of 22.4 shifts or 268.8 hours (which could well be increased to 269 hours).0
