I want to write to the creditors I have debt with that are on my credit report so that they have my current address and I don't get any backdoor CCJ's.
But I don't want to acknowledge the debt and reset the statute barred timer. Is this possible?

Writing to a creditor to update your address is not the same as acknowledging a debt now is it.
As long as you don`t say "oh, by the way, this money I owe you".

Interestingly, I've recently moved and although I have a mail redirection in place I was wondering whether to write to my remaining creditor for the same reason. As it turned out, around 3-weeks after moving in this particular creditor wrote direct to me at my new address and I guess it was because I had, by then, updated my address details on all 3 CRAs - so they must have picked it up from there.0
