Holiday pay

Hi, 
I am in the process of changing jobs and am signing a contract that is a 20 week contract, holiday pay inclusive. 

Does this mean if I take any holiday I won’t receive any pay? Confusing.

Perhaps they are going to try rolled-up pay, which they shouldn't be doing.

Anyone working a one-year contract would have their holiday pay inclusive in the annual salary quoted - and they would take holiday during the year.

So are you going to take 20/52 of what would be the holiday for someone working 52 weeks?

If you are not being allowed to take holiday (or not the full amount due proportionately), then I would expect they need to pay extra to compensate you at the end of the contract.

You will need to check what the employer means by the statement.   Have they already provided written particulars of your employment relationship which should include information about holiday entitlement?
