Cheap places to park near Blackpool pleasure beach (disabled driver)

hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me find the cheapest carparking in Blackpool. 
we are staying for four days 20 miles from the beach. we are visiting the waterpark on the 10th
and the pleasure beach on the 11th. I was booking the pleasure beach when they said parking 
was £20 for the day. I'm from Norwich so forgive me but that sounds very expensive. I am also disabled
and have a blue badge but not sure of the rules for badges in the area as there seem to be restrictions
on certain lines? i would be grateful for any help especially about blue badge parking.

Pleasure beach car parks have disable parking but you pay the same charges as anybody else.

Have you tried looking on parkopedia? 

You can put the postcode or pleasure beach (for example) in, and narrow it down to car park or street parking. There looks to be a lot cheaper than £20 reasonably close.

South Beach Car Park is over the road from the pleasure beach  and right next to the Sandcastle swimming and its £8 all day (12 hours).

If you want to head to the central Blackpool area around the Tower then Central car park would be better

Otherwise its a two mile walk from the Pleasure Beach to the Tower

Recently spent the day at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and parked in the South Beach Car Park for £8.
Frequent trams are available from there to the town centre for piers and Tower.
