Basically, hauliers in crisis, with drivers self-isolating or ill, have had trucks turned away by Lidl, for turning up later than expected, to distribution centres. As a consequence, hauliers are threatening to boycott Lidl, for being inflexible in a time of crisis.

Lidl is being boycotted by hauliers for being "inflexible" threatening to leave shelves empty - Latest Retail Technology News From Across The Globe - Charged (chargedretail.co.uk)

Additionally, Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick has urged councils to drop limits on operating hours for disribution centres near homes, for the next six months. So if you live near one, you might suffer disturbed sleep as they reverse. There's no way to turn off reversing beepers on trucks or fork lifts.

If this is to believed, then I'm sure Lidl will self-regulate the moment it hits the company in the pocket.
