Teacher pension or higher salary dilemma
Comments

I just say go into it with your eyes open. There's lots of factors to consider. Pension and salary are just two all be it part of the same remuneration calculation. The importance of each element will be different to each person though so just do your homework and assess the role as a whole not just one aspect of it.0

Have you visited the teachers pension website and checked what your NRA/NPA is? If you have transitioned between a final salary and a career average scheme you may want to check if they both have the same NRA.
It's easy to forget to claim pensions when they're due or to forget passwords/logins for old schemes so take steps now to screenshot the website info and download all documents (payslips etc.) you can from your pensions website and your employers.
