Good Morning Everyone!
I've just joined and the amount of information/threads/posts on this forum is quite overwhelming, particularly if like me you are interested in a bit of everything. I thought it may be useful to tell you a bit about myself and then perhaps some lovely people could recommend any threads they think may be useful?
I am 36, mum to 9 year old twins and getting married to my wonderful partner in September
Also in September i will be leaving the career i have built over the past 15 years to pursue my hobby and passion and build my home baking business full time. I will also be going back to college part time to study Patisserie and Confectionary to support me in my new career.
My partner assures me everything will be fine but I know secretly he worries about finances so i want to do as much as i possible can to take that stress away from him. Meal planning, food budgets, earning as much as i can as well as making sure i maximise the value of working from home full time and make sure the family home is the best i can make it...
I'm also nervous about the change from working around other people in office environments to being on my own most days.
I would welcome any advice

Welcome to the Old Style Board. You have chosen the right area for what you want to do.
I'd suggest just having a look at some thread titles and have a look to see if it's something that would interest you. There are a couple of threads I would particularly recommend - The Grocery Challenge (there's a new one every month): the first threads will tell you what it's all about; another would be the Reverse Meal Planning thread where you can post how you are using what you have in cupboards, fridge & freezer; you can also get some good ideas for new meals to try.
Good luck with your new career and college course.

Welcome to the forum, Try the frugal living challenge thread. Lots of great ideas on there.
All the threads might seem overwhelming to start with but once you have been on here a while you will probably just check the same few. Thats what I do.1 -

You will soon sort out which threads are going to be most useful to you. Almost everything is covered here.
