TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Absolute Radio + Expedia Online Competition.” These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

  

1. COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

The prize winner will be selected at random from those persons who successfully answer the online question and provide the requested details. 

The winners will be chosen by electronic random draw by 20th August 2021.

 
2. Entry Platforms and Costs

Online entry is free of charge.

3. DATES 

Start Date and End Date. From 00:01 BST Monday 19th July 2021 (Start Date) to 23:59 BST Sunday 15th August 2021 (End Date).

Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.

Winner Announcement. The winning person’s first name and hometown will be available upon request when the competition ends by emailing Win@bauermedia.co.uk.

However if the winner cannot be contacted within 21 days from the date of [the initial attempt to contact them], then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

 4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS 

• Unless otherwise stated the promotion is open to UK, Isle of Man, Channel Island and Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required. 
   
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter. 
• Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition. If by any chance they get pulled as a random winner via electronic draw – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded.
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms

5.  THE PRIZE 

1x winner will win 1 x prize package consisting of: 

• £1,000 Expedia.co.uk hotel voucher to be spent on stand-alone hotels
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
• Once confirmed, any changes including but not limited to, name changes, date changes and route changes will be at the prize winner’s expense.
• Prizes should be delivered within 28 days from the point the winner has confirmed their details. However, due to Coronavirus measures, delivery times may exceed the 28 days delivery period as stated in our General Terms and Conditions. We will endeavour to email prizes to winners as quickly as possible.

There is 1 prize to be won in total consisting of 1 x £1,000 Expedia.co.uk hotel coupons. Use of the coupons is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

Coupon code value: £1,000 off stand-alone hotel booking.   

Minimum Spend: There is no minimum spend. The coupon code can only be used once. It is a single use coupon. Once an eligible transaction is made with the coupon code, the coupon code will expire. In the event your booking is cancelled for any reason, your coupon value will not be refunded and you will not receive a replacement coupon.  

Redemption Period: 15th August 2021 to 14th August 2022

Travel Period: The travel dates must be between 15th August 2021 to 14th August 2023

How to use your coupon code

• Use the website or the App to search for hotels for your desired stay dates, within the travel period given above.

• Click the "Apply Coupon" button. If your booking is eligible, the applicable discount will be subtracted from the price of the travel reservation before the application of any taxes, applicable fees or additional costs. 
• This offer does not apply to multi-room bookings.

1. Subject to the restrictions set out in these terms and conditions and compliance with the above, the coupon code may be applied to a pre-pay stand-alone hotel only booking (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel or flight + hotel + car) made online with expedia.co.uk.  The coupon code can only be used for pre-pay bookings and cannot be redeemed against bookings which are paid at the destination.  The voucher code cannot be redeemed against package bookings or cottage bookings.
2. The coupon code cannot be redeemed against hotel stays at any pay later bookings, booking of properties offered by VRBO and/ or HomeAway entities and/or EG Vacation Rentals Ireland Limited.  The list of hotels for qualifying bookings may change at any time. 
3. Provided that you spend a minimum of £1,000 (the price of the hotel booking excluding any taxes, fees or additional costs) in one booking, the voucher code entitles you to £1,000 off the price of the relevant hotel booking before the application of any taxes, applicable fees or additional costs. 
4. The coupon code may only be used in relation to the first room booked on an eligible single booking.  This means that where the eligible booking includes more than one room, the coupon code will only be applied against the first room in the booking.
5. The coupon code cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.
