Given that you might have submitted the wrong form I'd be tempted to give them a call and check (you'll need your NI number) - you might also need to give them your bank details as follows.
My wife claimed back over paid tax for last tax year and it was processed pretty quickly and paid by bank transfer in to the account she gave them when submitting the claim. We have both submitted P50's this tax year and I think our target date was early July but we have both just received letters asking to phone or post in our bank details so that they can make the payment.
Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.

My simple P55 form took exactly 3 weeks to pay my refund back in Feb (the target apparently)

I submitted another P55 in April and it took over 7 weeks to be paid, since then the pingdemic may have made matters  even worse, so don’t hold your breath

I have had to claim back tax twice in the last six months due to deduction of tax from my sipp.  They both took longer than expected by about one month due to them being busier than usual.  There does not seem to be any way of chasing them unless you want to sit on the phone for ages.

It appears that all public sector departments and their agents are having the same long lead times, I contacted the civil service pension scheme in February and I'm still waiting.
