Hoping for some advice...
I bought tickets for a music festival for 2020. It was cancelled due to the pandemic and I kept the tickets for 2021. It was cancelled then too and now I want a refund.
I sent the tickets back and got a confirmation email. That was April 19. I have tried contacting them throught their online form and that is ignored. Their contact email (customercare@seetickets.com) has an auto response saying it isn't monitored. Their phone line (01159129000) is closed. Twitter is ignored.
Are there any other options? I tried a section 75 claim but each ticket was less then £100. Also I have moved house and changed credit cards since the purchase so it wouldn't surprise me if that complicates things.
I'm sympathetic with the impact of the pandemic on this industry but I'm entitled to a refund. Is there anyone else to complain to?

You might need to be more specific as to what the process was before people can offer you solid advice, as it needs to be established that you are actually entitled to a cash refund.0 -
Oh, sorry.
The original tickets were valid for the rescheduled event in 2021. They are now valid for 2022. As to conversion to credit, I'm not sure.
I applied for a refund and was told to return the tickets (which I did). They never denied that I was entitled to a refund, they've said they're processing it. The problem is that nothing is happening and it is impossible to get in touch - their whole website is designed to prevent direct contact.0 -
Have you tried contacting them via social media? That sometimes gets a response. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
They ignored me on Twitter. Might see if I can say something on facebook0

They’re really slow at processing refunds. I got excuse after excuse out of them when I applied for a refund for some Simple Minds tickets- I was told on several occasions ‘it will be with you this afternoon’ but it never was. Six months down the line, I threatened small claims court- money was miraculously in my account within a couple of days. these tickets were bought for 20200 -
Be the festival organiser that has the responsibility for the refund, not the agency.0

Sorry for the delay folks, been away a couple of days.
Thanks for the info. I might just raise a case with the small claims court since I can't actually speak to anyone.
I understand they will have a fair number of refunds to process but the pandemic started 18 months ago so they cant say they haven't had time to get their processes in place.1
