Scottish Widows Trackers?

Hi, i have recently joined a work based pension with SW, what i am looking for is equivalent funds to ones i already hold with vanguard, these are

VLS 100%
FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund Accumulation
US Equity Index Fund Accumulation

Currently i have the following in SW
Scottish Widows Pension Portfolio One Pension (Series 3) - 80%
Scottish Widows Pension Portfolio Two Pension (Series 3) - 20%

can anyone help before i look deeper into what SW offer?
Thanks

My DC pension is with Scottish Widows. My default scheme was based on the snappily-titled "SW Passive Multi Asset" funds. These come in five flavours - I through V - with ~20% to ~100% equity exposure in each. They seem to perform much like the equivalent VLS funds so I've stuck with them (although not as part of the default scheme).

I'm a rank amateur at this so I'm interested to learn what the more experienced posters think!

SW portfolio One series 3 is very similar to VLS100 with its high UK allocation but with rather lower performance.  From a quick look that may be due to it being somewhat more cautious and less invested in tech.

SW portfolio Two Series 3 is very similar to VLS80 but with lower performance probably for the same reason.

PS I have just noticed that the SW funds are much less highly invested in the US - the US, UK, Europe and Asia allocations are all around 25%.

In my SW pension there is SW Legal & General World Equity index , which tracks the FTSE World index .

As mentioned by Linton, a lot ( all?) of the SW multi asset type funds have a relatively low US exposure . Considering this their performance is not too bad and if the US market comes off the boil it will be an advantage . Also the fund you mention has low charges ( 0.1%)

A number of the SW pensions have that the state street trackers.   Some also have the blackrock trackers.
You dont say what version pension you have and which fund range is available.

    I have the
SW SSgA Int Eq Indx fund
(  SW SSgA International Equity Index Series 2.)
SW SSgA International Equity Index Pension Series 2 Fund factsheet | Trustnet shows that it is perhaps overweight in USD, but in general terms is a global tracker.

Well, judging by the names the equivalents are likely to be:

FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund Accumulation:  SW SSgA International Equity Index PensionFund
US Equity Index Fund Accumulation: SW SSgA North America Equity Index PensionFund

They won't be exactly the same, you would need to read the details for each to establish the differences.  I think the main thing to check would be that the International Equity Index fund includes UK equities.  If it doesn't you would need to add a UK Index fund as well, probably: SW SSgA UK Equity Index PensionFund

I have SW Pension Portfolio Two (Series 2) in my workplace pension and I was surprised by how much its composition has changed over the last couple of years.

In September 2019 its asset allocation was:

    UK Equities - 25.8%
Europe ex UK Equities - 16.6%
    US Equities - 14.7%
Global Emerging Market Equities - 10.9%
    Other - 9.1%
    Japanese Equities - 7.5%
    Global Fixed Interest - 5.3%
    UK Fixed Interest - 4.0%
US Corporate Fixed Interest - 3.1%
Asia Pacific ex Japan Equities - 3.0%

Compare that to it's June 2021 asset allocation:

    US Equities - 35.1%
    UK Equities - 15.9%
Europe ex UK Equities - 10.3%
Global Emerging Market Equities - 7.6%
    Other - 7.6%
    Global Fixed Interest - 6.0%
    Property Shares - 5.5%
Asia Pacific ex Japan Equities - 5.5%
    Japanese Equities - 4.6%
    UK Fixed Interest - 1.9%

An increase in US equities from 14.7% to 35.1% is quite a change!

I'm a bit disappointed that Scottish Widows don't inform you when they make such changes as in September 2019 I transferred 10% of my pension from Pension Portfolio 2 into a SW Baillie Gifford North American Equity fund as I wanted around 25% of my pension in US equity.  When I next checked the funds I found that I was 45% in US equity because of the changes!!

Does anyone know what the "Other" assets are?
