I wanna buy a Washing Machine

Wonder if anyone has any recommendations on makes and models? Even someone with access to the Which reports to tell me what is en-trend?
Either / or all advise and recommendations most welcome.

Budget is £400, maybe a little more.. very little more for the perfect machine.
We would a reliable machine, that is cost effective to run, silent as poss, 9kg min, would prefer 10 - 10.5kg.
Bonus would be some smart features, and perhaps auto-dose if it's any good.. but this is not essential.

Our current Samsung Addwash is dying, had it just over 5 years, already had a hose replaced where it was rubbing against the drum. But now it's just out of warranty the seal has a split, and the bearings are going, so will be cheaper to replace than repair.

Brands i have researched and have models within our budget are mainly Bosch, Lg, and Samsung..... but there are lots of different models.

As i say, a silent, economical machine with a min 9kg drum are the priority requirements.

Thanks for any assistance you are able to give.

Highest scoring washing machines in your price bracket according to Which?  There are several others scoring at and below 79%.

    Samsung WW90T554DAW           £449.00                  81%

    Hotpoint NSWR963CGKUK           £339.99                  80%

    Samsung WW80K5413UW           £429.00                  80%

    Hotpoint NSWR963CWKUK         £299.00                  80%

    Hotpoint NSWM963CWUK          £359.99                  80%

    Hotpoint NSWM963CBSUK          £339.00                  80%

It would take quite a bit of time to check and enter details such as reliability, running costs, load etc as this entails switching from page to page and reading the reports for each individual model.  I think, however, that the general consensus is that Hotpoint is not one of the models renowned for its reliability.  Someone will now tell me of a Hotpoint washer that has been passed down the family from granny and it's still running.

    Thank you so much.

I agree with Hotpoint, I would rather stick to one of those brands i mentioned and looking at the list it could be another Samsung.

Many Thanks once again, I found a couple of machine i'm siding with, a Samsung and an LG.
I think i might change and go for an LG as it has a direct drive motor, so no belt, and is quieter - plus both models come with a free 5 year parts and labour warranty.

Well quick change of heart, a 15% code appeared on Ebay this morning (max £60 discount) so have stuck with Samsung and gone for the 10.5kg drum WW10T534DAW for £399 delivered.
Crampton & Moore will email me a non-ebay invoice after delivery so i can claim the 5 year parts and labour warranty with Samsung.
