Breitling Replica Watches - BCOSales?

Hi All

New here but have to say am totally addicted - thanks to the expertise of the folk here and the marvelous sense of community :T

Right, I am looking for a replica watch for my boyfriend, either a Breitling or Tag. Yes, I know, replicas suck etc, but he is insisting on one - (rather than another item of equal value, but not pretending to be something else!) - and I am not (yet!) in the income bracket to be able to afford £kkkkk for a genuine article.

Soooo, I have found this site and the watches look and sound very good. I am hoping to hear from anyone with any experience - good or bad - of BCOSales.com:

http://www.bcosales.com/RepBretCat1.htm

Thanks for reading, hope you can help me with this.

    Buyer Beware

All replica watches infringe the copyright/patents of the original company

    Quality is usually rubbish.

    No Address on the website

In Italy if you go through border control into France and you have a countfeit copy of designer item, eg handbag, they confiscate it on the spot and destroy it. They could do the same with watches.

If you get much spam, you will usually get the replica watch spam, but note that all the "from" headers are forged !

The registrant of your website is in Manchester, but it looks like it is an agent, so finding the real owner/company is difficult.

    Probably Russian or chinese.

Testimonials - do not believe - looks good on the website but no way to tell if they are real.

If it looks to be too good to be true, then it probably is.

Know what you mean aerostar and, being a natural-born cynic, I was perturbed by the lack of address/phone number too. I just hoped someone here might have had a good experience to relate from BCO or could recommend another place...?

Replicas/fakes go against everything I believe in (I saved up and bought a genuine Chloe Paddington for £800 rather than entertain a fake) and I would rather have nothing than have a replica. But this man of mine is so difficult to buy for and he thinks differently about the whole 'fake' thing - "You can't tell the difference...etc". No talking him into letting me buy a lower end watch (say £100+) - he wants a fake Breitling or Tag

Was thinking of ordering from BCO with a credit card - then I will be covered if nowt turns up....won't I??!!! *gulp*

The 01332 fax and mobile number is a Derby number and appears to be the number of the web host, not the actual BCO company which shows a Manchester address. No company is recorded at companies house to that address. So no way of actually contacting the company and the webhost will not give you any personal details either.

A quick glance at www.google.co.uk/maps on the postcode M23 shows a very lovely end semi-detached house - hardly a 'big business with offices in the USA and UK).

If the OP isn't actually promoting their own website then my advice is caution - the goods may very well exist and be genuine fakes but you'll be contributing to the black market economy and you have no idea of where the item has come from (stolen, made by children in china, taxes not paid, etc).

Any business that goes to great lengths to hide it's identity from the customer is clearly dodgy. Whilst paying by CC may protect you for purchases over £150 - the CC company may not refund you if they believe you willingly entered into an illegal transaction - which it clearly is. You may also find your address/name and CC details may be used and/or sold on and cloned/replicated which will bring you more headaches further down the line.

Tell your fella if he wants a fake watch to go buy one himself. Please don't lower your standards for him!.

  • I like the idea of a Breitling also but won't go with a fake, these look horrible imho.
It says "We are in no way associated with Breitling and these watches are only for costume purposes"

Or maybe I would, but only if buying it myself on impulse on a street corner somewhere on holiday where I could see the thing first, bartering probably for less than $100, these websites charge what $200 + postage?

    An alternative is maybe going with something like a Krug Bauman Chronomaster here;

  • JasonLVC - how on earth did you find out that info?! Very impressive!

And thank you to everyone for your contributions/thoughts. You'll be pleased to hear I am not going to buy from that site!

As DMG24 says - www.who.is - brilliant website, tells you who registered it, name/address, date, etc - although on its own can still mis-lead.

I also have free access to companies house so if it is a registered business then I can pull accounts and Directors addresses to confirm/cross check against the website.
