my 6 yr old boy and 5yr old girl have both got a DS and they love any of the Mario games, Lego Star Wars, Cooking Mama and the nintendogs or dogz, Catz or Hamsterz kind of ones
Hope this helps a little0 -
Mario, Diddy Kong Racing, Nintendogs, any of the (pet)Z series depending on which animal he likes and if you "really want to" and with a Disney tie-in BUT these games (ie the disney) tend to be sold on the name rather than being a good games.0

my 5 yr old has one and has the cartoony disney games (although some do have long descriptions of what to do) and nintendogs.
i've just bought him mum, i did it or something like that (?!) which is aimed at young children, they do a boys and a girls one.Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -
Mariokart is a good game for little ones, easy to play. Pokemon link is quite good and only involves picking matches quickly. Gets quite hard nearer the end though (not that i have played it or anything
