Hi there,

Just would love some advice on this.

I plan to get a loan for a new car. Been doing this the past 10 years or so with my last loan with Tesco bank paid off 2 months ago so now I am on the hunt for a new car to start the process again.

I have signed up with the MSE credit club which uses Experian and when I use their eligibility calculator Tesco bank has came back with a 60% eligibility rate.

However when I use the MSE loan eligibility calculator the exact same loan from Tesco Bank is 95%

Just would like some advice on which one is the more accurate as do not want to apply until I am certain as don’t want to wreck my chances.

They're both fairly ropey, so it's impossible to say, and it won't be the same for other customers.

Try some lenders which have their own eilgibility checkers to get a better idea.
