can anyone tell me if this entry is correct??

Options
I went through bankruptcy on 18th May 2017, I have asked repeatedly for this to be changed as I believe the balance should have been '0' long before 3 months ago. Also they have bizarrely added a recent credit to take the balance down to £36. I believe this still causing significant damage to my credit file as it is remaining in the default section of my credit file instead of saying 'settled'. can anyone please advise.
thank you in advance.

just wanted to add that all the other debts prior to my bankruptcy showed a '0' balance from my bankruptcy date and have gone into the 'settled/satisfied' section of my credit file.

It's marked as satisfied 18 May 2017. I agree they should not be showing a present balance. Isn't that the £0 in the top right corner?

If you have a final response from the company, refer it to the ICO

Virgin are saying it is reporting correctly but the balance should have been '0' from 18th may 2017 and it has continued to report a balance. I emailed Experian and they have said this is why my score isn't going up even though I am just 10 off the bankruptcy dropping off. Despite the account saying settled 18th May 2017, it is still reporting as 'defaulted' in the top right corner under the £0. Im so confused.

You're two years from the bankruptcy dropping off if it was granted 18 May 2017.

I think the problem with the Virgin debt  is maybe the layout. It was defaulted April 2016 so that drops off next April, and it's correct to show that.

The latest entries show account in default £0 and I think that is the correct present position,

Your score does not mean a lot and it's never going to look good while there is a bankruptcy on the file

Thanks fatbelly, I’ll hope that this will drop off in April and then I will have a clear credit file apart from being a year off the bankruptcy.
