Hi,
I have been trying to clear debt for several years and am almost there. I am at the point of changing from an interest only to repayment mortgage and have almost passed all checks. The one thing holding me back is a historic EE debt. I need to set up a payment plan and have evidence of this. I have contacted EE who confirm they long sold the closed account to a company called Direct Legal Collections. But, the number they gave me, or any I try come back as incorrect. I’ve looked at DLC’s website and the contact me doesn’t work either. My mortgage company will not proceed without further proof. Is there anything else I can do or does anyone know how to contact Direct Legal Collections? Thanks for any help!
