Raised leg feature to armchairs please.

Hi, due to age and infirmaty, we feel the need to buy two armchairs of the recling type, not those that tip back, we're after those that have a raised leg feature only. Having googled so much, I've yet to find the correct words that will bring up the sort of thing we're after.  If anyone has knoweldge of such things, I'd be more than grateful of some info please.

Do you mean an " incliner " type of chair.  Differences between recliners and incliners. – Scanliving  for example.

or there are " riser " chairs which tip forwards to allow easy exit.

Depending on the style of your current chairs, would having blocks under the legs raise the seat high enough to make it easier to get in and out of?

Not sure if I'm on the tight track ,but would a pouffe not do ? I'm thinking you mean you don't want the back of the chair to recline but wish to elevate your legs??
There are chairs with matching footstools ?

There are so many riser-recliners it might be easier to find what you want in them and just use it as a riser. (And the recline bit is there if you fancy it sometimes.)

Anyway, googling riser-recliner will probably get you onto the right websites.

Find your local mobility shop & go along & try a few.
They all have them in stock & on display.
Play about with them & see what suits your needs.
Also note that depending on your circumstances you may be able to get the chairs without paying the VAT.

If you just mean high backed arm chairs with a bit that raises the legs up once you are seated then both next and M&S do them, the next one is called Sherlock and the M&S one is called Highland. They look very similar

I think what you're looking for is generally referred to as a "manual recliner chair"? i.e. there's a footrest which lifts up when you pull a lever at the side, and goes down again either with the lever or just by pushing your feet down. I think they do usually lie back too, if you pull the lever further, but obviously you don't have to do that, or you can place it against a wall so it can't.
