One4all vouchers John lewis

Hi
i recently purchased sandals and a t shirt in John Lewis, price came to 75£, I used a one4all voucher of £50 and added the rest using a debit card.
I want to return to sandals which cost £55. Am I entitled to the 55 back on to my debit card or will they try and offer me a credit note. The one4all vouchers can be used in a lot of stores don’t want to tied in then to use a credit note just in John lewis
ideally I want the refund on to my debit card is this possible??
