OMG has anyone else had dealings with these? They are soooo annoying.
Same as for a lot of people, everything went wrong for me last year with furlough etc. I've really struggled, but am now setting up plans with my creditors and they have all been ok, except for these guys.
They call me daily, email me all the time, are charging me for sending emails. I have written a complaint. I am on a frustrating text conversation with someone there now. They want to know the ins and outs of everything. I have said right this is the amount that I can afford. They are asking all sorts of questions.
All my other creditors I've said right this is what I can afford, they've gone ok, it's all set up done. These guys are asking me so many questions, I feel like I am being hauled over the coals. I have said that I want the daily calls and emails etc to stop and just for them to note my file that I will be making payments even though small at present. It feels like an interrogation. I have even done income and expenditure which I never do for anyone else. I feel like just ending the conversation really but then the calls will continue. What to do?!
I have not been treated this way by a creditor for years! I thought it had been phased out.
I wonder if I should just put it in writing then ignore any other messages? So frustrating that they don't have an email so I will have to write a letter and post it!

Yes, they are well known for such things.
The best, and easiest way to deal with them is to ignore them completely, before they drive you mad.
Block all lines of communication with them, wait until they sell the debt on, which they will do.

Totally agree with Sourcrates who advised and helped me as I was in exactly the same position it seemed scary to ignore them but please do that they do then completely give up(took a couple of months I think) and sell it on.
Yeah block their numbers or send anything not listed to voicemail/answering machine and block their email address.
