4kw system with only 8 panels?

My roof only has enough area for 8 panels, I don't want to go for a 2kw system as it doesn't seem as worthwhile, have panel capacities (density?) increased at all to the point where I can get somewhere near 4kw (3.6 would be fine!) Are there installers which would facilitate this?

I've learnt to never trust a Chinese company's product (or its warranty), especially when product longevity is a factor. No matter how much they may tempt you with their prices.
