Somewhat different scenario but my wife was offered a permanent job without an interview. She had previously had a temporary job with the same company where she completed what they expected to be 6 weeks worth of work in under 2, in the process effectively doing herself out of a job.A few weeks later she had a call from them asking her to drop in. Long story short, no interview just had the job explained to her and asked if she wanted it. 7 years later she's still there.1
