If you live within 3 miles of Halifax, Poole and Rotherham ASDA stores, you can deliver up to 70 items for one hour delivery, but there's a £8.50 delivery charge.

The article also gives fast delivery details for other supermarkets.

Would you use this if available ? I wouldn't as Deliveroo would be cheaper for me.

Asda launches one-hour food delivery service but it will cost you £8.50 per slot (msn.com)

The main difference compared is that ASDA is offering the full range of products (around 30,000), whereas most retailers only offer 1,000-2,000 products through Deliveroo.

I could certainly see me using a service like that after returning from holiday (especially if trains or flights are involved and you may be hours later than expected) or other one offs. Anyone using it regularly should probably hang out here more as it's a bit expensive compared to alternative delivery options - but it's still fairly priced for what it is.
