Boots pay

Does anyone know if Boots (the pharmacy) pay in advance? My daughters final pay slip shows they have deducted so much that she gets £0 inc any holiday owed. Her manager is away for the week so won't help and someone has told her she gets paid a month in advance yet she never knew this and her 1st wage slip was at the end of her 1st month working there for 1 months pay so it was always behind from the start. Even her hourly rate is almost double her regular rate on the wage slip. She was relying on this final wage to cover untill her new job pays. Thanks

What has been deducted from her final payslip? If she had been paid in advance then no payslip would have been needed.0

We have mo idea what this is0 -
Where I worked we were paid in advance but no adjustments were needed on final pay slip, if you had holiday accrued you got paid it but no deductions were noted on pay slip. Could she ask HR or is there a wages department?0

I have never heard of an employer paying a whole month in advance. I have, however, been salaried where we were paid around the 17th of the month for the whole month, so partly in advance and part in arrears.
What do you mean by "Even her hourly rate is almost double her regular rate on the wage slip." ? Are you suggesting they were paying double time?
Had she taken more paid leave than accrued up to the time of termination of employment?0
