Ordered Drinks to a pub I wasn't in...

Good Morning Everyone,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I was out for cocktails with my girls on the weekend and I ordered a round of cocktails (£50) to table number 39 in a bar I wasn't even in. Is there any way I could get my money back? I've emailed the bar where I spent the money and I suspect they'll say no but if anyone can help me get my money back I would be grateful.
Thank you.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

If it was your mistake, then no refund due. If the app was faulty and changed the location you selected then they should refund you.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)2 -
It's my mistake. I went to the bar and tried to get a refund but they said there was nothing they could do. Do you think it's worth opening a dispute with the bank?0

I can't see why the bank would entertain a dispute, unless you lie about the circumstances, which is not a route to go down.
I'm afraid this is one of those you just have to take on the chin.0 -

Emailing to complain is the wrong approach. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. It would have been better to send a nice email, admitting your carelessness, apologising and asking nicely if they'd refund or make a gesture of some sort.2 -

Thanks for your help, I'm not confident in my consumer rights so I wanted to check to see if I had any or if anyone had a similar experience. I would have probably let it go in normal circumstances but it's just a lot of money to lose so i'll try putting out some honey as you suggested.
Thanks again.0 -
Put it down to experience and at least it sounds like you were having a good time to make the mistake in the first place. You've now got a good story to tell when you're all swapping tales of disasters! From the point of view of the bar very difficult to sort out and once drinks are poured or mixed they can't do much with them. It's either drunk bar staff or down the sink..1

I think I would contact them and point out how easy it is to make a mistake on their app ordering drinks (which they no doubt encourage due to Covid), explain what happened, and ask for a good will gesture.
No doubt the drinks were poured (which took time, used glasses which needed washing etc...), just not at the same location you were!
At least table 39 elsewhere had a good night!! (Did you phone the other venue and ask!?!?)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
