Struggles with new glasses

I had an eye test in Boots in January that suggested new glasses so I ordered some, I don't know if it's relevant but I am 44 now and this was the first time my prescription had a reading addition value. They sold me some glasses with a very small amount of varifocal which I have never had before. When I got them I really struggled with them, my right eye just felt weird and vision wasn't very good in that eye. I took them back and they spent ages doing frame adjustments and I went away but still had the same issues. The next time I returned they did a full eye test which was slightly different so they took the glasses back and made them to the new prescription. I am still struggling with the news glasses and am struggling to explain why they feel funny. I don't think it's related to the varifocal as my left eye feels fine.
I have attached my prescriptions below.
The old glasses I have to the 2019 (blue) prescription feel good, the glasses I have had to both the 2021 prescriptions (green and black) all feel bad in the right eye.
Can anyone help with working out what the issue is? I am toying with getting some cheap specs made up to the latest prescription without the varifocal in case that is the issue. I would really appreciate anyone elses thoughts and experiences.
Thanks

As the optician has done two eye tests, my advice is to persevere with the varifocals.
You always have a dominant eye and it takes a while for you brain to adjust to new spectacles.
When I first got varifocals I was advised to keep them on all the time for the reason above, moving between old and news specs is not a good idea.
However, if you are getting pain or headaches, get back to see the optician and not the store staff.
