1st time buyer, Help to Buy ISA, Gov HTB & Guarantor

Hi,

My son is staring out on the road to buy his first home which is a new build.
If I am entered on documents as a guarantor will this void his application to use the Govt HTB scheme and the Help to Buy ISA that he has?
