Mortgage after DMP

Hi guys
I'm looking for people with success stories that managed to get a mortgage after paying off their debts via Debt management plan.
I was told I need to show clean credit report for at least 12 months from the date of finishing my DMP. I know defaults pay a major role and first defaults will come off my credit file in March 2022 (6 years after my DMP started) but others did not default until later on, with latest being August 2019.
I'm a single mum and I got into financial problems after my ex moved out to another woman 8 years ago leaving me with 10 months old baby. I'm looking to buy shared ownership new build property on my own.
