Western Cattle Egret
Eurasian Spoonbill
Great Egret
I'm not an expert but my guess is Eurasian Spoonbill. Mainly because of the coloured band at the base of the neck. (See Pic)
Great Egret has longer neck Cattle Egret has shorter neck (maybe)
If you have a different answer please give reasoning.

I concur - also not an expert but cattle egret unlikely to be in such deep water (plus tends to yellow legs), and the splash to the bird's left looks typical of a spoonbill's sweeping feeding motion.33

Definitely the Eurasian Spoonbill. I know a lot about birds & wildlife. As a member of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust I used to visit Martin Mere regularly before my disability & there are spoonbills that come back there regularly
