Looking to change mortgage offer HELP!!

I have had my mortgage offer through but I was offered less due to not being able to produce a tax overview from the HMRC (I’m self employed)
I have now received this tax overview from the HMRC and it would be great to get the higher amount and not have to put as much deposit down.
My question is has anyone enquired about changing a mortgage offer or asked to put down a lower deposit after a mortgage application was successful and was it easy to do ?

I obviously do not want to jeopardise our current offer, we haven’t had searches done as yet so still early stages in buying the property
thanks
thanks

Depends on the lender. Some it will be straightforward, others a pain in the ****.If you share the lender with us, we’ll be able to give you an idea.
