Payday loans - joint application

Hi all,
I'm planning with my partner to apply for a mortgage in 2023 but the problem is that I had a few payday loans - the last one paid in 2019. Never missed payment.
My partner has a very good credit report with an excellent credit score - do you think that my payday loans will have a negative impact?

@zapalki In 2023? Assuming that the lending environment is similar to today, it's unlikely that 4+ year old pdls will have a material impact on your chances.

  • thank you for your reply.

Do you think will be worth asking the creditor if they can remove those accounts from my credit file as a goodwill gesture (sunny loans so will have to ask administrators) or this works only in the US? also don't want to messed up more...

@zapalki I don't think they will bother to do that and it's unlikely to have much impact anyway in 2023. No harm in asking I guess.
