Looking for a bit of advice. I work in hospitality like many last year we were furloughed for a lot of the year. We had to take 3weeks holidays during this time. When the end of the tax year ended our 30/03/21 payslip had 8 holiday days remaining then for the next 4 weeks it disappeared off our payslips then the new year holiday appeared 28days which we were entitled to the last years 8 days were not added on. I then give my notice as I got a new job and and finished on the 6th June. The next week I got my last payslip and no holiday pay was in it at all not even for April-June's this year. I was wanting to know would I not still be entitled to my 8 days from last year aswell as what I accumulated this year or do I loose them because of furlough. Thank for any advice Northern Ireland

Assuming you were full time you would be entitled to 28 days. You took 15 days holiday which left 13. I suspect they have deducted another 8 days which would be bank holidays if you didn't work those. To me this would mean that you had 5 days to carry forward to the new holiday year - which is fairly standard amount as I understand it. You would have accrued a further 2.3 days for each of April and May but in that time there has been 4 bank holidays which means you should be paid for .6 days. This would be in addition the 5 c/f from last year.
So potentially you are owed 5.6 days pay? But I would ring your employer and ask what happened to the 8 days from last year plus what's accrued this year. Ask for a lot and maybe to happy to settle for a lesser and possibly correct amount.
