    I doubt it. Most banks don’t even ask for bank statements these days.

    I do wonder though, if you don’t declare savings etc on any government forms or applications, how they ever know what savings you do actually have.

    It won’t make any difference.
  • The lender is within their right to ask for statements and they do - I’ve just recently had NatIonwide asking. It won’t affect it but they may question it
