Lidli croissant

As a Francophile, I'm liking Lidl's croissants - they are a good size, flaky, respond well to gentle re-heating and best of all they're 37p each!  Not quite up to French bakers' standards, but waaay better than all but freshly-baked from a real baker...

    Yep, closest to the real thing in any supermarket. The ones they sell in Costco are good too, but you need to buy in bulk as well as having a membership, so Lidl's are the definite winners.

    BTW, you should've posted this in the Good and Bad Buying at Lidl and Aldi thread.
