Love2shop vouchers

Hi, I have recently discovered that my love2shop vouchers had expired. I contacted the company who said that they will extend them but have taken off £20 I admin charges (they said it was in their T&C). I explained that due to covid and the shops being closed and not being able to use them online, this was why they had expired. They keep sending me back to their T&C. I have explained that explained that covid isn't in there but they won't budge. Is there anything else I can do to get my money back please?

They'll already know that Covid isn't in the t&cs, as terms don't usually address specific pandemics, but general terms and conditions of use. Travel and leisure have become the main exception.
If they're not willing to extend the vouchers free of charge, your only option is to accept the admin charge. You could have spent them. Remember that if you find it difficult to get to shops, you can exchange them online for e-cards.0 -
Thanks for your reply. I emailed them last year about being able to use them online and they told me that this wasn't possible and that I had to go to the shops to spend them.0

There were shops open that were accepting them throughout the lockdowns - Boots, Wilko, Iceland, for example. Not ideal having to use them in shops you wouldn’t normally choose, but the option was there. They may be charging an admin fee but they could probably have declined to extend at all. What value vouchers are you talking about? And how long have you had them for - they normally have a couple of years on them and the shops were open for a fair amount of time last year. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2
