Proof of temporary address?

Due to our purchase falling apart the day before exchange we went ahead and completed on our sale and moved in with family. Shortly after we found a new property but our previous purchase had dragged on and interest rates are now much better so we are making a new mortgage application.

We planned to keep our addresses at our old house and have a redirect set up. This is the address on the application. Today the lender has asked to see proof of our new address? What can be done here? The quickest thing would be to change our bank address which presumably shows up straightaway on an online statement however it doesn’t match where we live on the electoral register. This is surely a fairly common situation.

The lender is TSB and they have asked for an endless stream of paperwork for a straightforward application with a 60% LTV and borrowing about 200k under what we could do!

@ele_91 Unless it's different direct, TSB *should* accept a long list of possible address proof documents. Have a browse and see what might be quickest for you. https://intermediary.tsb.co.uk/criteria/residential-criteria/identification-verification/
Is the application still in-processing or post-offer?

We are using a broker so not a direct application but they haven’t been very helpful. The application is still being processed as far as we know, there was some back and forth with a gifted deposit.

@ele_91 The broker should be letting you know what to expect tbh. Not sure about TSB's process as I haven't had this scenario with them.
