Clicking links now requires an intermediary confirmation page?

Is this just a setting I've somehow flicked on/off on this new forum software, or is this another "Change"?

Now when I click any link in the competition forum that people are sharing, it's taking me to an intermediary forum page that states the link again, and requires me to click that before it continues to the page, slowing things down more.

I'm not imagining things, am I...!?

It's suddenly happening for me too. Hope it's just a mistake and goes back to normal soon.

finding it easier to copy link and paste in new page agree it slows things down

Final straw for me. I'ts been made more and more difficult to enter comps on this forum and much fewer comps than many other sites now because people have been pushed out. Now we're too stupid to realise clicking on a link to another site will in fact take us to that site? More time added for absolutely no reason at all. No more for me. Gl peeps. Win lots.

I am also really peed off with it - I really hope it isn't permanent or I may be leaving too!

I can't complain as it is trying to make the site safer, but it would seriously cut my comping time and I've been so positive about this forum, but if this is a permanent change, I'm not too sure if my time would be better used elsewhere. 🥲

Presumably you only need to do this once and it remembers your choice for next time?
