Being made a director mid mortgage application

So I'm in the middle of applying for a mortgage. When I applied I was manager, and now I am being made director with immediate effect. Does this effect my mortgage application at all? Ie do I need to tell my MA/lender?

@MWT I've read all the info to go with the title, and also spoke to a solicitor prior to ensure I knew obligations etc. I thought I was being pretty good with it, until someone just said to me "have you told your mortgage broker" It hadn't even occurred to me to tell them, so maybe not so good with the research before hand ha
