Wash Duvet or just buy new?

Options
So here is the dilemma, to take a duvet to the launderette cost nigh on £10, to buy a new one costs £10, I know it is saving the planet to wash, but what would you do?

Wash, but I'm able to do it at home rather than at taking it to the launderette.

If it’s a goose feather one, I get it washed.

If it’s a polyester one, I donate it to the local dog’s home for bedding & buy a new one once a year.

    Win-win.
