TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Wickes & Absolute Radio – Euros Sweep Stake” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

The winner for this competition will be the entrant who is assigned the football team who wins the Euro’s 2021 tournament in the Absolute Radio Euro Sweep Stake competition.

The competition will begin by requesting the Absolute Audio enter the sweepstake by the entry methods outlined in section 2.

24 entrants will be selected at random from all entries and each will be randomly assigned a football team who have qualified for the Euro’s 2021 tournament.

The assigned teams will not be announced to the entrants of the competition or the Absolute audience on assigning and this will be kept in a password protected word document with the Absolute production team.

Throughout the Euro 2021 tournament the entrants will be contacted and requested to come to-air when their teams have been knocked out of the competition at this stage, they will be told which team they were randomly assigned.

Entrants may also be called to discuss the competition when there assigned teams are still in the competition. Only upon being told the team they were randomly assigned was knocked out of the competition will they be taken out of the sweep stake.

The winner of the competition will be the 1 of 24 entrants who was randomly assigned the winning team of the Euro 2021 tournament.

The teams randomly assigned at before the start of the Euro 2021 Tournament will remain the same throughout, he competition and this information will be help by the Absolute programming team for the duration of the Sweep Stake.

There will be one winner of the competition and they will be announced after the Euro 2021 tournament has finished and a team has won. The winner will be contacted after this and the prize will be awarded.

There will be no prizes for the entrants who were assigned teams that do not win the Euro 2021 tournament.

You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

a. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b. Participants cannot enter more than once

c. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

d. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.

e. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

f. You are responsible for all costs of entry.

g. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

h. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

i. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.

j. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
