Certainly would fit the bill

More expensive ones have bigger screen and higher resolutions (better picture quality).
I've got my parents this £49.99 one from Play.com (plus Quidco 2%): http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3496604/CiBox-C107-7-Digital-Photo-Frame/Product.html
I also recently saw a 7" one in Asda (at the photo counter) for £39.99 - had remote etc. Not quite a smart looking but at that price who's going to complain!?!0 -
Bump !!
Anybody else have any good digi photo frame deals ?Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0 -
Argos are doing a deal that is listed in their Xmas offers magazine. It is a 7mp Kodak camera along with a 7" digital frame. Worth £160 together but selling for £99 though in some stores it has gone through at £89.

The camera is very basic but the frame is of a good quality.
Hope this helps0 -
Will this do for my technophobe other half do you think? Anyone got this one maybe?

She likes the idea of having one but I suspect would look at the actual look of the frame rather than resolutions etc0 -
How about the one in Debenhams (online) - through quidco (4%), reduced from £90 to £70 and now another 10% off to £63 - http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_18268_482889_-1CCCS DMP:Feb 07

I'd suggest that you go for a photo frame with a decent resolution - e.g. 640x480 or higher, and a good contrast ratio e.g. 300cdm2 or higher. Many of the cheaper screens have lower resolutions, and it really shows when pictures are displayed.
I have a Philips 9" - the 9FF2M4, and its screen quality is great.
The one on Play.com above looks good, with a decent resolution.
Ideally it's best to see one working before buying, to decide if it's the right one for you.0 -
Tesco currently have Technika 7 " photoframe (800 x 480 res) with remote at £39. Smarter looking than the ASDA version. This was advewrtsied on Tv at weekend and the wesbite now shows out of stock but my local store had some hidden away behind the electronics counter and were giving to customers who asked specifically (not sure why they didn't just put them out!). Might be worth ringing local store(s) to check if they have them.Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0
