Council tax

Options
Hi. I have a four bed house and am currently a band E council tax. My wife is working permenetly at home so we have has to convert a room into an office. Could we apply to have our band reduced to a band D like the other 3 bed houses on our road?

Well you could but as you will still have the same number of rooms as before the answer will be most definitely NO REDUCTION!!

If the VOA put a non domestic rating assessment on the bedroom  used as an office (which would be highly unlikely even if it did have planning permission for use as an office) then you could apply
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
