Mortgage application with debt management payments

Hello,
I would like some advise if anyone is able to help please My husband and I are hoping to apply for a mortgage in the next couple of years. I have some debts from student days that were passed over to a debt management company in 2012. I have since been paying a small amount towards these debts, and have never faulted on any payments.
They regularly offer me reduced settlements. Would it be better to pay these off at the reduced amount, continue to pay monthly or clear them fully before we think about applying for a mortgage?
Thank you.

@womblingalongnicely Very very generally speaking, purely from a mortgage point of view, the longer a DMP has been satisfied and in the past, the better your access to lenders will be.
