L&G selling my Partnership pension to Fidelity

    I work for Public Health England (yes the very people fighting COVID) I earn 40k a year and have 40k in a partnership pension and I am 45 year old.
    So you've explicitly opted for Partnership (DC) over Alpha (DB). This choice would seem more material than Prudential vs. Fidelity as DC provider, to be honest...

    I would love to know why ladaowner55 decided to go for the Partnership scheme when Alpha schene is so much more generous in term of pension income. Just curious as to the logic behind such a decision (I know there are some benefits to opting for Partnership though).
