Work Bonus and Dynamic Tax Coding

in Cutting tax
I am in the fortunate position that I got a rather large Bonus from work last month, for which I paid the relevant tax etc. Unfortunately I just found out that HMRC decided to now change my Tax code from 1012L to K459X, assuming that last months pay would now be my regular monthly pay (Dynamic coding, I understand). So I went onto the HRMC Website and updated my estimated income of this tax year.
Anyone has experience on how low it takes for them to put me back onto my original tax code? Can I expect this to be sorted quickly or is it something I can expect to push ahead of me for the rest of the tax year?
Thanks,
dsab

The original tax code may no longer be correct, it could be somewhere between that and the K code.
You should get a new tax code calculation in a day or two (visible on your Personal Tax Account if not on your doormat).1
