Leasehold allocated parking

Hi,
I'm at the very end of the process of purchasing a last minute issue on the allocated parking space has been raised. There is no mention of the space on the land registry deeds we just have it in the lease (screenshot below). The issue that has been flagged is that on the Plan 3 only the flat boundaries are marked and whilst we can see parking spot P496 on the plan, it isn't outlined in red as per the lease. My solicitor is saying its a defective lease and we need to pursue a deed of variantion which I understand can take months.
I'm wondering if there are any other quicker solutions we could pursue to get us completed before the stamp duty deadline. I read a couple of threads where potentially an indemnity policy could be taken out. Could this be done then I pursue the deed of variance once I take ownership of the flat? Or any other options available?
My solicitor is now away for a couple of days so would just be good to get some other opinions so I don't go crazy thinking about it.

One option is just to take a view on it. Yes, it's an error, but it's pretty clear what it means. Unless somebody else has been given identical rights but they do have the space outlined in red on their plan (which seems unlikely).

Or you could probably get indemnity insurance (though one of the terms of that will be that you then don't contact the freeholders about it, so you'd effectively just be taking on the risk if you later flag it up to them).
