Acceptance of Mortgage offer letter date?

Hi,

I’ve received my offer from Precise mortgages and theres a ‘acceptance of mortgage offer’ letter that I have to sign and send back. Now I noticed on another bit of paperwork it said something about not dating it as solicitors do this. But not on the actually letter I need to send back. I have rang precise who didn’t have a clue whether to sign or not. First they said date it, then she told me to check with solicitors, rang solicitors who didn’t have a clue what I was talking about and told me to ask Precise, and asked broker who is on holiday so her helper said to not date it 🤷‍♀️
My solicitors haven’t received my mortgage offer yet, not sure why as precise said they should have by now, and my local searches aren’t back yet neither (its a new build).

Wondered if anyone on here could give me advice?
Thank you

I would just wait till the MB is back. Once an offer is issued, it's unlikely to be super urgent.
