Halifax mortgage process

Hello, we have applied for a mortgage application a couple of days ago and have just received a notification that they have booked the valuation. Does this mean that they have approved everything else.. but now just waiting on the valuation?
Does anyone also know the order of the steps that Halifax takes when approving mortgages ? Thanks in advance!

Hiya
We made full application (3 payslips each, 3 bank statements each and proof of child benefit) and paid valuation fee on the 15/5. Valuation booked and completed on the 18/5. Request for May's payslip for both of us on the 24/5. Credit report shows 2 separate hard checks, one on the 15/5 and one on the 21/5. Haven't heard a dicky bird since then. So stressful!! Good luck 😊

No valuation instruction does not mean anything as they instruct automatically on submission of the full application.
When the supporting documentation is provided they will generally review that in two or three days, and if that is fine, the valuation result will be the final item.I am a Mortgage Broker

I'm FTB solo and I'm just waiting for the green light now on the underwriting. Valuation has all been done and ok - but today have been asked for 3 months bank statements on top of my payslips already submitted.
Has anyone else had this? Can't help but worry!0
